Get away from the beaches after an earthquake,
It’s the best preventive measure generally. A tsunami or tidal wave is generated after an earthquake of median or great intensity generated off the coast.
Before:-after an earthquake in coastal areas, people should move away from the beaches more likely and/or the high places must be located.
-Must protect the children, elderly and sick, who are those who have less capacity to run, climb or hold on to some object.
-Do not trust, it is better to exaggerate, that being trapped by the tsunami.
–Always have ready, personal or important roles, place them in a plastic bag, with handles, which protect them from the water and it can be loaded without dealing with the hands and has a copy at home of a family member or acquaintance of his confidence.
-Get according to their families in some specific meeting place and always tell someone where is and where you go. During the tsunami:-run to places far away from the coast or high sites in buildings and mountains. -Try to stop some heavy furniture, trunk of tree, door or piece of wood. After the tsunami:-remain calm as much as possible.
-Try to locate their family members and stay with them.
-Meet all the instructions of Civil protection of their State or country. -Do not drink water, unless you have the security that is clean and safe.
-If you do so, remove and change the wet clothes. Try to stay dry as much as possible, to avoid the development of fungal and other diseases of the skin.
-If you can help to clear and settle somewhere, do so together with persons of civil protection.
-If you know how to do this help rescuing and applying first aid to the people who need it. Help them to find less hazardous sites, somewhere they can move more safely.
-In case you get help of the Red Cross and other institutions, respect what can be given to each family.
I have started this blog to tell people about what they should do in case of a tsunami, but the main reason is to remind you that there is an Almighty God in heaven that is looking after us and people should be aware of that. The Japan Earthquake has been a big tragdey but nobody remembers that when disasters happen is pretty much the will of God, and if you die and you had placed your whole trust in him, you will go to heaven for the rest of eternity and be able to praise the Lord forever. Now where I am going with this? If you are reading this blog, saw what nature is capable of and saw what happened because of Japan's earthquake, it means that you still have the chance to repent from your sins, like I did some time ago, and live a happy life with God inside your heart. I assure you, I dont feel afraid when this kind of disasters happen because I know that if I die, I will go with Jesus and that keeps me calm at every moment and in every situation. So people I ask that you study yourselves and if there are things in you that are wrong there is still time for you to turn back and walk beside God.
